Morris The Brook Tapestry Red Roman Blind
For Morris, tapestry was the highest form of decorative art. Inspired in part by J. H. Dearle’s The Brook Tapestry, and the friezes that sit beneath the Holy Grail Tapestries, ‘The Brook’ has been newly created by Alison Gee. Digital printing recreates all the crispness and abundance of beautiful detail, which was the special characteristic of medieval tapestries. One colourway is printed on cotton velvet, and two on textured linen/viscose cloth reminiscent of the original tapestry surface. ‘The Brook’ is also printed in two colourways as wide width wallpaper in the Archive III Wallpaper Collection.
